Operator and scope

SVG Vector Lab is the operator of this website and determines how information under its control is used for the purposes described below. This policy applies to svgvectorlab.com, its browser-based SVG tools, and its guide pages. It does not govern third-party websites reached through external links.

Information that remains on your device

The editor uses browser local storage to retain the active SVG, a manual checkpoint, the checkpoint time, and your analytics choice. Those entries remain in the browser profile until replaced, cleared by you, removed in private browsing, or removed by the browser. The editor also uses browser file, clipboard, and download capabilities only when you initiate the corresponding action.

SVG Vector Lab does not upload the SVG files you open, the SVG markup you edit, or the images you export to an application server. The Cookie Policy identifies the first-party storage entries used by the editor.

Information processed when you visit

The hosting and content-delivery provider may process IP address, requested URL, date and time, referring page, browser and device characteristics, approximate location, and security or diagnostic events to deliver, protect, and operate the site.

If you voluntarily send email or submit a public GitHub issue, the project receives the contact details, account information, message, and attachments you choose to provide. Do not submit credentials, confidential artwork, or personal information that is not necessary for the request.

Analytics

SVG Vector Lab loads the Google Analytics 4 tag with analytics storage denied by default. Before you select Allow analytics, Google may receive cookieless page-view and consent-state signals, but the site does not grant analytics cookie storage. If enabled, Google Analytics may set analytics cookies and receive the visited path, page title, referring origin, approximate location, browser, device, operating system, and permitted interaction events.

Analytics events use fixed labels for navigation destinations, controls, tabs, document source, selected tool, general element type, grouping, alignment, imports, and SVG, PNG, or clipboard exports. The site may also record whether a named ad placement was filled, unfilled, or visibly on screen. Analytics never receives SVG contents, source-panel text, attribute values, filenames, clipboard contents, image data, raw pointer coordinates, or keystrokes. Google Analytics is configured without Google Signals or advertising personalization signals.

Ad clicks, impressions, and publisher revenue are measured by Google AdSense and may appear in Google Analytics through an official account link. SVG Vector Lab does not intercept clicks inside ads or place tracking overlays over ad units.

Advertising

Eligible guide pages contain Google AdSense code. When the site is approved and an eligible ad is available, Google and participating advertising providers may use cookies, web beacons, IP addresses, or other identifiers to request, deliver, prevent fraud in, limit, personalize, and measure ads. Google may use information from this site together with information from other sites or apps in accordance with its policies and the choices available to you.

Where consent is legally required, advertising cookies and personalized advertising must be controlled through a Google-certified consent management platform. The available result may be personalized ads, non-personalized ads, limited ads, or no ad request, depending on region, consent status, browser settings, and ad availability.

Purposes and legal grounds

Depending on the applicable law, information may be processed for the following purposes and legal grounds:

• to provide editor features you request and respond to communications, including performance of a requested service;
• to deliver, secure, debug, and prevent abuse of the site, based on legitimate operational and security interests;
• to measure use and improve the site, based on consent where consent is required;
• to request, deliver, prevent fraud in, and measure advertising, based on consent or another lawful basis made available by the relevant provider where permitted; and
• to comply with legal obligations and establish, exercise, or defend legal claims.

Service providers and international processing

Information may be processed by Cloudflare for hosting, delivery, security, and technical logs; by Google for consent management, analytics, and advertising; by GitHub for public source hosting and issue communications; and by email infrastructure providers when you contact the project. These providers process information under their own terms and may act as processors, service providers, or independent controllers depending on the service and law.

Providers may process information in countries other than the country where you live. Applicable contractual, organizational, or legal safeguards are determined by the relevant provider. Review each provider's privacy documentation before sending information through that service.

Retention

Browser local storage remains on your device until it is replaced or cleared as described above. Communications are retained only as reasonably necessary to respond, maintain a record of the request, protect the project, or comply with law. Hosting, analytics, advertising, GitHub, and email providers retain information according to their own settings and retention policies.

Your privacy choices and rights

Subject to applicable law and verification of the request, you may have rights to request access, correction, deletion, portability, restriction, or objection; to withdraw consent without affecting earlier lawful processing; and to complain to a privacy or data protection authority.

• Use Analytics choices to allow or disable Google Analytics. Global Privacy Control is honored as an analytics opt-out.
• Use browser controls to block or delete cookies and local storage.
• Use Google Ads Settings to manage Google ad personalization.
• Where available, use the site's Privacy and cookie settings control to revisit advertising consent.
• Send a rights request to contact@svgvectorlab.com.

SVG Vector Lab does not independently sell personal information for monetary consideration. Use of personalized advertising technologies may be treated as a sale, sharing, or targeted advertising under some laws. Applicable opt-out controls are provided through Google, the consent interface, browser signals where supported, and the contact address above.

Children's privacy

SVG Vector Lab is a general-purpose design and development tool and is not directed to children under 13 or to a higher minimum age where local law requires one. The project does not knowingly request personal information from children. A parent or guardian who believes a child submitted personal information may contact the project to request review and deletion.

Security and changes

Reasonable technical and organizational measures are used to protect information under the project's control. No website, transmission method, or storage system can be guaranteed completely secure.

This policy may be updated when the site's features, providers, consent configuration, or legal obligations change. The effective date above will be revised when a material update is published.
