SVG Vector Lab

Legal

Privacy Policy

This policy explains what information SVG Vector Lab handles, what stays on your device, and what third-party services may receive when the site is hosted or monetized.

Your SVG artwork is processed locally. SVG Vector Lab does not upload the files you open, the SVG markup you edit, or the images you export to an application server.

Information stored on your device

The editor uses your browser's local storage to retain the current work in progress between visits. This information remains in that browser profile unless you clear site data, use private browsing, or your browser removes it. You can remove it through your browser's site-data controls.

The editor also uses standard browser capabilities when you choose to open a local SVG file, copy SVG markup, or download an SVG or PNG. Those actions are initiated by you.

Hosting and technical logs

The hosting and content-delivery provider may automatically process technical information needed to deliver and secure the site. Depending on the provider, this can include IP address, browser and device information, requested URL, timestamps, referring page, and security events. The provider handles that information under its own privacy terms.

Analytics

When enabled on the production site, SVG Vector Lab uses Cloudflare Web Analytics to understand aggregate traffic and page performance. The service can report information such as page views, visited path, referring site, approximate country, device type, browser, operating system, navigation type, and page-performance measurements.

Cloudflare states that Web Analytics does not use cookies or browser local storage to collect usage metrics and does not fingerprint individuals for analytics. Analytics information is used to understand which pages are useful, identify performance problems, and improve the site. It is not used by SVG Vector Lab to build individual visitor profiles.

For more information, see Cloudflare Web Analytics and the Cloudflare Privacy Policy.

Advertising and cookies

The site uses Google AdSense to request and display advertising when Google has approved the site and an eligible ad is available. Third-party vendors, including Google, may use cookies, web beacons, IP addresses, or similar technologies to serve and measure ads. Google's advertising cookies may allow Google and its partners to serve ads based on visits to this site or other sites.

You can manage personalized advertising through Google Ads Settings. You can learn how Google uses information from sites that use its services at How Google uses information from sites or apps that use its services.

Where required, the site will present a consent message before using advertising cookies or processing personal data for personalized advertising. Visitors may be offered personalized ads, non-personalized ads, limited ads, or no advertising request depending on their choices and region.

Information you send voluntarily

If you contact the project through GitHub, GitHub processes your account information and message under its own privacy statement. Do not include confidential SVG files or sensitive personal information in a public issue.

Children's privacy

SVG Vector Lab is a general-purpose design and development tool and is not directed to children under 13. The project does not knowingly request personal information from children.
