Cookie and similar technologies policy

Scope

This policy forms part of the Privacy Policy. In this policy, "cookies" includes browser cookies and similar technologies where applicable. Some browser storage is essential to a feature you request. Other technologies are used only after consent or according to the choices and legal requirements that apply in your region.

Browser storage used by the editor

The editor uses local storage, not an account or remote database, to preserve work in the same browser profile. The following first-party entries may be stored:

• svg-vector-lab:autosave stores the active SVG so it can be restored in that browser.
• svg-vector-lab:manual-save stores a checkpoint that you request.
• svg-vector-lab:manual-save-time stores the checkpoint time.
• svg-vector-lab:analytics-consent stores whether analytics was allowed or declined.

These entries remain until you replace them, clear site data, use a private browsing session that removes them, or the browser removes them. SVG artwork stored this way remains on your device and is not transmitted to SVG Vector Lab.

Analytics technologies

The Google Analytics 4 tag loads with analytics storage denied by default. Before you select Allow analytics, Google may receive cookieless page-view and consent-state signals, but the site does not grant analytics cookie storage. If enabled, Google may set or read analytics cookies and process device, browser, approximate location, referral, page, and permitted interaction information. SVG Vector Lab configures analytics without Google Signals or advertising personalization signals and excludes SVG source, artwork values, filenames, clipboard contents, image data, pointer coordinates, and keystrokes from its analytics events.

You may withdraw analytics permission at any time by selecting Analytics choices on the site and choosing Keep analytics off. Enabling Global Privacy Control also keeps this analytics collection off.

Advertising technologies

On eligible guide pages, Google AdSense may use cookies, web beacons, IP addresses, and other identifiers to request, deliver, prevent fraud in, limit, personalize, and measure advertising. The exact technologies and retention periods are determined by Google and participating advertising providers and may vary by region, consent status, browser, and ad availability.

Where required, advertising choices are collected through a Google-certified consent management platform configured in Google Privacy & messaging. Depending on your location and choices, personalized ads, non-personalized ads, limited ads, or no ad request may be available. Non-personalized ads may still require consent for cookies or local storage where applicable.

Your controls

• Use Analytics choices to allow or disable Google Analytics.
• Use your browser settings to block, delete, or restrict cookies and local storage.
• Use Google Ads Settings to manage Google ad personalization.
• Where the certified consent interface is available, use the control below or the corresponding footer control to review advertising privacy choices.

Blocking first-party local storage may prevent autosave, checkpoint restoration, and consent preference persistence. Blocking advertising technologies may affect whether an ad can be shown, but it does not restrict access to SVG Vector Lab's editor or guides.

Changes and contact

This policy may be revised when browser features, vendors, legal requirements, or consent configurations change. The effective date will identify the latest published version.
