Legal
Terms of Use
These terms apply when you access the SVG Vector Lab website or use its browser-based editor.
Acceptance
By using SVG Vector Lab, you agree to these terms. If you do not agree, do not use the site. You must comply with applicable laws and any third-party rights that apply to the artwork or code you use.
The service
SVG Vector Lab provides browser-based tools for viewing, editing, and exporting SVG content. The service may change, gain or lose features, experience interruptions, or be discontinued without guarantee of advance notice.
Your content
You retain ownership of SVG files, artwork, text, and other content you use with the editor. The editor processes this content locally in your browser and does not require you to grant the project ownership of it.
You are responsible for ensuring that you have permission to use and modify the content you open or export. Do not use the service to infringe copyright, trademark, privacy, publicity, or other rights.
Acceptable use
You may not intentionally interfere with the site, attempt to bypass security controls, use automated traffic to inflate advertising impressions or clicks, distribute malicious content through project channels, or use the service in violation of law.
Open-source code
The SVG Vector Lab source code is made available under the MIT License. The license governs copying, modification, distribution, and reuse of that source code. These website terms govern use of the hosted service.
Third-party services and advertising
The hosted site may rely on third-party infrastructure, consent tools, analytics, or advertising services. Those providers have their own terms and privacy practices. Ads, if shown, are provided by third parties and do not constitute an endorsement by SVG Vector Lab.
No warranty
The service is provided “as is” and “as available,” without warranties of accuracy, availability, fitness for a particular purpose, non-infringement, or error-free operation. Keep independent backups of important artwork and verify exported files before relying on them.
Limitation of liability
To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, the project owner and contributors will not be liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or for loss of data, profits, business, or opportunity arising from use of the service.
Changes
These terms may be revised as the project changes. The effective date will be updated when revised terms are published. Continued use after a change means the revised terms apply to later use.
